Visit of HE Kailash Choudhary, Hon'ble MOS (A & FW) to Brunei Darussalam

5th AIMMAF Meeting, 16-17 October 2019, Brunei Darussalam



Hon'ble MOS, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, HE Shri Kailash Choudhary led a 3 member delegation to Brunei to attend the 5th ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting on Agricultureand Forestry (AIMMAF), held on 16-17 October 2019.


The delegation also included Dr. A. K. Nayak, Scientist, National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack. Dr. Nayak held meetings with Bruneian officials and made field visits to different locations in Brunei.


On the sidelines of the 5th AIMMAF, Hon'ble MOS held a bilateral meeting with HE Dato Ali bin Apong, Minister, Primary Resources and Tourism, Government of Brunei Darussalam on 16 October 2019.


Both Ministers discussed various ways to enhance cooperation in agriculture sector.MOS shared a template MoU for consideration by Bruneian side and extended an invitation to Minister Dato Ali bin Apong to lead a delegation to India, which was accepted.
