Celebrating 25 years of ASEAN-India Dialogue Partnership

ASEAN-India Music Festival - 8th October, 2017 in New Delhi

ASEAN-India Dialogue Partnership from 6th to 8th October 2017 at the Delhi's iconic Purana Qila an archaeological monument dating from the 15th century. The theme for this Comm Emorative year "Shared Values, Common Destiny" along with this Music Festival aimed to boost cultural influence among the people of ASEAN and India.

A Band Once, a group of six Bruneian musicians, gave an enthralling performance for around 30 minutes in the Festival on 8th October 2017 in front of a large supportive crowd.

In addition to the band from Brunei, bands from other nine ASEAN countries - The Ugly Band from Myanmar, Chepen from Malaysia, Tim De Cotta from Singapore, Kong Southerrith from Cambodia, Red Bamboo from Vietnam, L'alphalpha from Indonesia, Nam Fon Indee from Lao PDR, Asia7 from Thailand and The Ransom Collective from Philippines - also perform at the Festival.

The Festival also witnessed performances by famous Indian bands like the Raghu Dixit Project, Avial, Papon LIVE, Bipul Chetri and the Traveling Band, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. 
The Festival was a grand success that showcased the power and beauty of cross cultural exchanges. People of all age groups and from all walks of life witnessed the music performances and thrilled to the combined music of India and south east Asia.
