Prize Distribution Ceremonies for
Winners of the Painting Competition on “Gandhi-My Hero”
and Hindi Diwas celebration
organized  by High Commission of India

A Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized in the High Commission today, following full COVID-19 SOPs, for the Winners of the Painting Competition on the theme ‘Gandhi-My Hero’.  The Competition was organized as part of the celebrations to commemorate India@75 - “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and to mark the 152nd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The Painting Competition was  held for the three age categories namely “under 10 years”; “10-15 years”; and “15-25 years” from Bruneian nationals and Indian Diaspora based in Brunei.  The Painting Competition on Mahatma Gandhi received an enthusiastic response from numerous participants across all age categories. High Commissioner, Mr. Ajaneesh Kumar, congratulated the winners of the Painting Competition and appreciated their knowledge and understanding of Mahatma  Gandhi and his ideals.

Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the Hindi Diwas competition organized in the Mission on 14 September 2021.
